In Vitro Fertilization

In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a medical procedure in which an egg and sperm are combined outside the body, in a laboratory dish, to create an embryo. This embryo is then transferred to the uterus for implantation, with the goal of achieving a successful pregnancy. IVF is a widely used assisted reproductive technology and has helped many couples overcome infertility issues.
